Don't get the criticism for DeGale. Dirrell is one of the most skillful and awkward SMWs out there, probably only second to Andre Ward, had only lost to Froch and that was an extremely close decision that I thought should have gone to Dirrell anyway.
He slacked off in the mid to late rounds but to win a world title fight out in America against an American and hand him his first convincing pro loss is no mean feat.
Bring on the unification with Groves when he beats Badou Jack in september.

He edged the fight for me because he gave rounds to Dirrell. However edging it still means winning it and deserving it.
Hopefully a great fighter begins his era of dominance.

Degale showed enough in the first 4 or 5 rounds that he is world class. The following rounds were obviously disappointing after such a great start but he can work on that and keep on improving. Was a deserved winner.

The Froch clip with Mayweather is one of the cringiest things I've ever seen, went down in my estimation after that.

The yank did well to come back from that early spell and Degale put too much (understandably) into the early rounds. The corner didn't help him but a last round win for me.
